Formerly Dean of Faculty (1978-85), I came to Bryant in 1975. Publications and conference papers include essays on Shakespeare's plays, medieval drama, Skelton(satire), Wyatt, More, Stevenson, Poe, Wharton, James, Hawthorne, Faulkner, Hemingway, Arthur Miller, Frost, Oates, Pynchon, others. Writing book on Hamlet, articles on Beowulf, Shakespeare, Joyce, others.
