James Estey has been teaching history at Bryant since 1964. His degrees are from Cornell University and Brown University where he specialized in modern European history. He is known for his extensive travels to various regions of the world. He currently teaches courses in World History, and in the history of Europe, Russia, Africa, China, and Japan, and has a special interest in the careers and lives of Mohandas Gandhi and Nelson Mandela.
