Language study teaches you to think critically and analytically, and introduces you to ways in which other cultures construct thought and make meaning. Our courses integrate culture, history, literature, and other creative productions into the learning experience, and introduce you to business discourse.

Zenan Zhao is a Lecturer in Chinese Language at Bryant University. She is a Chinese native speaker. She holds an M.A. degree in Asian Civilizations with a specific focus on Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from the University of Iowa. She also has a B.A. degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Nankai University, Tianjin, China. She is the Academic Advisor for Global China Connection, the Chinese learners' club. She teaches Introduction to Chinese Language and Culture, Intermediate Chinese, and Advanced Reading on Chinese Literature and Culture.
