Our program, ranked in the top 8% in the country by College Factual, helps Finance students develop a problem-solving, decision analysis framework centered around value creation and serving the consumer.

About This Department

Finance – the art and science of managing money – is about making decisions that add value to corporations and individuals. As a discipline, finance also includes investment management for individuals and institutions, as well as the management of financial institutions such as banks and insurance companies.

College Factual ranks our finance program in the top 8% in the country. Undergraduates may select concentrations in Finance or Financial Services. A Finance minor also is available. MBA students may choose to specialize in Global Finance. The C.V. Starr Financial Markets Center supports students' coursework. Bryant is a participant in the prestigious CFA Institute University Affiliation Program.

Top students undertake a two-course program managing the Archway Investment Fund, a real-world portfolio of more than $2 million.

The student-run Archway Investment Fund provides Bryant University students with the opportunity to manage an investment portfolio following the principles used by financial professionals around the globe. With faculty guidance, students develop the skills and investment protocols to manage a portfolio of more than $2 million.
