Our faculty

Our faculty members are strong researchers and consultants who are experts in various industries and functions within the field of marketing. They are also outstanding teachers who bring their knowledge and expertise into the classroom to create effective and enhanced learning experiences.

The marketing concentration

Students who pursue this path learn to identify and select markets; analyze consumer and organizational needs and buying behavior; forecast anticipated actions, plan and develop products; and determine packaging, pricing, logistics, distribution, selling, advertising, and sales promotion strategies.

The digital marketing concentration

A concentration in Digital Marketing prepares students with a theoretical foundation in marketing and an applied digital marketing experience to critically evaluate, develop and implement strategies to market products or services using digital technology, such as Internet, mobile, display ads and other forms of digital medium. The objective is to learn how to promote brands and reach consumers through various forms of digital channels such as Google search, social media, email, and their websites.

The minors

Three minors are available: Marketing; Marketing Analytics, designed to provide the conceptual background and applied tools necessary to conduct analyses that drive decision making; and Sales, designed to provide a theoretical background as well as applied experience.

Clubs and organizations

We sponsor events and support a variety of clubs and organizations that offer opportunities to expand upon concepts and ideas developed in the classroom. For example:

  • Bryant Marketing Association is our collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association, which offers students an opportunity to learn more about the field of marketing and practice their marketing skills. The organization achieves these goals by bringing in marketing executives to speak to members, participating in a variety of charitable activities, and sponsoring the Marketing Night at Bryant.

  • Delta Epsilon Chi (DECA) is a national organization for college students preparing for a variety of career areas, with specific emphasis on the areas of marketing, management, merchandising and entrepreneurship. Delta Epsilon Chi is a professional organization, providing leadership and career-oriented opportunities to develop and enhance tomorrow’s leaders.
